Gazi Medical College

Gazi Medical College (GMC) was established in 2011 as the first private medical college in the Khulna Division of Bangladesh. It's in Khulna's Sonadanga district. Under the Faculty of Medicine, it is associated with Rajshahi University and Rajshahi Medical University.

It offers a five-year program that leads to the bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery (MBBS). All graduates must complete a one-year internship following graduation. The Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council recognizes the degree. Gazi Medical College Hospital, which has 500 beds, is affiliated with the college. Gazi Medical College's official journal is Mediscope.

  • The students belonging to the reserved category (ST/SC/OBC) should secure 45% marks for admission.
  • Candidates must have passed the HSC or equivalent examination from any recognized board or the University of Bangladesh with a total GPA of 9 and Biology with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in HSC.
  • For MBBS admissions, Indian applicants must pass the NEET exam.
