Overview :

The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) is a non-profit private institution Established in 2003. About 19 years ago it started its journey of delivering Medical education. The first batch merely consisted of 13 students while today it boasts of about 3K students. The IHSM is also known as the International School of Medicine, International University of Kyrgyzstan. International Higher School of Medicine offers 5-year MBBS program together followed by 2-year internship. The IHSM holds institutional accreditation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan.

Eligibility Criteria in International Higher School of Medicine :

  • International Higher School of Medicine admission requirements include a score of 50% marks and above in PCB in Class XII.
  • The applicant must be a minimum of 17 years of age.
  • Student must have qualified for the NEET exam for the year you’re applying.
  • The university may possibly conduct an interview to assess the speaking and understanding ability of the Basic English language of the candidate.

Hostel/ Accommodation : 

At present, the International Higher School of Medicine provides several dormitories to its foreign students. It also provides separate dormitories for both girls and boys. In fact, students can choose to stay in shared rooms like two-bedded, three- bedded and four-bedded rooms. The rooms are furnished with beds, chairs, a study table, a wardrobe, bedding, and so on.

The price of the hostel rooms will depend on the basis of sharing or individually owned. However, many international students prefer renting private apartments as per their requirements. The IHSM provides a mess/canteen facility for the students. Moreover, you will find Indian mess and also the food is prepared by Indian cooks. Thus, the university’s meal plan includes a variety of Indian cuisines. Moreover, the students need not stress over meals as hostel canteens and cafeteria can be found nearby.
