Overview :

Shihezi University is situated in Shihezi, Xinjiang, China. It was established in the year 1996. The University is the integration of institutional colleges by the Ministry of Education and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corporations. It is one of the national key universities in China. Shihezi University was constructed under the “211 Project” in December 31, 2008. It has been growing into a lively higher learning institution with world-oriented education. It has presently 20 colleges and more than 30, 032 enrolments at both undergraduate and post-graduate level of study. The University has ten specialties such as Agriculture, Medicine, Engineering, Economics, Literature and Arts, Science, Education, Law and History. There are Four doctoral degrees, fifty-two Master’s degrees, and sixty-six Bachelor’s degree programs to choose for the studies. The university is a top destination for the study in medicine. Students from India and other countries proudly enroll for the MBBS and other medical courses every year. Students are provided many facilities for their comfortable study.

Duration of MBBS :

The MBBS program is of five years + one year of Internship. During the first five years, the students gain knowledge about the clinical abilities. Further, in the last one year, the Internship program provide students to enhance their medical abilities and it can be done at the hospital of the University or in their own nation which must be recognized by Ministry of Health. But the students need to pass the HSK examination before the sixth year of Internship.
